Design A Stylish Nursery
May 19, 2008

One of the most exciting activities for prospective parents is designing the nursery. Artist and designer Ron Briere shares tips:
Inspire Yourself: Look around your house for inspiration. Love country? Modern? Design a nursery that fits your personal style.
Count to Three: Choose three complementary colors for the room, creating a coordinated, clean and calm look.
Cut the Clutter: Keep diapers, wipes and creams in arm’s reach but out of sight. Drawers and baskets provide easy access without clutter.
Try, Try Again: The best way to decide where to place the crib and furniture is to move the pieces around until they feel just right to you.
Invest in Rest: Many families invest in a crib and furniture set that will grow with the baby. For example, the Lifestyle® crib converts to a toddler bed, a full-size bed and a daybed as your child grows.
When it comes to furnishing a baby nursery, there are no rules except follow your heart.
