17th Annual Good Friday Walk with the Suffering Stations of the Cross     March 21

A religious procession will proceed along downtown streets stopping at various institutions commemorating Jesus’ journey to Calvary and His solidarity with the suffering. Costumed actors will re-enact scenes from the Stations of the Cross at each stop. 8:30am - 11:30am. Rescue

Horizon Christian Fellowship Church Service Good Friday Church Service     March 21

In recognition of Good Friday that preceeds Easter on Sunday, an outdoor Christian church service will be held amid the peaceful setting in Balboa Park. Easter Sunrise Church Service     March 23

In recognition of Easter, several churches have collectively gathered to organize an early morning Christian church service at Balboa Park. It’s the perfect setting for this occasion. 4th Annual San Diego Race for Autism     March 29

About one in 166 children are diagnosed with Autism. The purpose of this 5K run/walk and 1-mile fun walk is to raise funds for programs and services for autistic children in San Diego. Families, teams, and individuals are encouraged to participate. A resource fair will accompany this event. 4th Annual San Diego Indie Music Fest     March 29

This independent music festival celebrates independent music, art, business, and thought. There will be live performances, interactive art activities, and films; plus merchandise booths filled with handmade jewelry, clothing, and other types of art. There will be a beer garden at
