Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. March     January 25

Knox Elementary School students will proudly march through the community of Lincoln Park in honor and remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The students will be accompanied by school staff and special guests. Recycle Auto Waste Mission Bay - South Shores     January 26

This event is geared for City of San Diego residents only. At-home mechanics can take advantage of this offer. Items such as used oil, antifreeze, oil filters, and auto batteries will be collected for recycling. There’s no charge to do it today, but there is a 10-gallon limit per person. 9:00am - 1:00pm. Little Italy Winter Stickball     January 28

The game of stickball will be held on a street in Little Italy. It’s traditional origin is from Italy where youths play the game on neighborhood streets as a recreational sport. The game is played when opposing teams use sticks to maneuver a ball to opposite sights to score for points. 12:00pm - 4:00pm.
