NBC 7/39 Toys for Tots Drive     December 7-8

You can make this a special holiday season for underprivileged children in San Diego by donating new, unwrapped toys for them. Christmas on the Promenade     December 7-8

The true meaning of Christmas will be celebrated with activities and fun for all ages. It’s an enchanting Winter Wonderland with Santa, a mound of snow to play on, hot chocolate, holiday food, Christmas Trees, music, gift shopping, rides, and seasonal activities. Come for the fun! 30th Annual December Nights     December 7-8

Balboa Park is alive with the joy of the holidays and the spirit of Christmas! Amid twinkling lights, seasonal decorations, gift shopping, museum attractions, Santa Claus, and ethnic food and drink, a glorious Christmas Tree will light up the night at the Organ Pavilion in song and music! 4th District Christmas Extravaganza     December 8

San Diego’s 4th District will be hosting an exciting Christmas outreach event with give-away groceries and Christmas gifts; plus food, entertainment, and a Kids Zone. 44th Annual North Park Toyland Parade     December 8

You’ll not want to miss this delightful parade in North Park. Come early so you can watch a band competition before the parade begins. Then line up along the street so you’ll get a good view of the floats, marching bands, antique cars, horses, motorcycles, clowns, dancers, cheerleaders, and more. 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. Pacific Beach Holiday Parade     December 8

People will be lined up along the streets in Pacific Beach to watch a community parade that inspires a holiday spirit of red and green. You’ll see uniformed marching bands, marching groups, drill teams, floats, clowns, and Santa waving at everyone with a jolly "Ho-Ho-Ho"! 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Pacific Beach Middle School. Mission Bay Boat Parade of Lights     December 8

Delightfully decorated boats and yachts with colorful twinkling lights will slowly parade in single file on the waters of Mission Bay. It’s an enchanting sight to see! Some of them will be playing traditional holiday music as others might be escorting Santa or one of his Elves. 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. San Diego Bay Boat Parade of Lights     December 9-10

Approximately 100 delightfully decorated boats and yaches with colorful lights, holiday music, and twinkling reflections will slowly parade in the water of the bay. If you look closely, you just might see Rudolph, Santa, or one of his Elves. Come early so you can find a cozy place to watch it. 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Central Village Tree Lighting Ceremony     December 11

Central Village is proud to bring the community together for a festive holiday tree lighting event. Everyone can enjoy pleasing entertainment that includes mariachi and holiday music and a visit from Santa.
