LOEWS CORONADO BAY RESORT SURF DOG COMPETITION     August 18

See Spot surf during the “Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition” on August 18 in Imperial Beach - the nation’s only surfing competition for man’s best friend. 15TH ANNUAL ENCANTO STREET FAIR     August 18

This cultural festival is one of the largest music, arts, and health festivals held in San Diego. Continuous music will entertain you while you shop for merchandise, see a car show, stop for lunch, or have a frosty beer. MIDNIGHT MADNESS FUN BICYCLE RIDE     August 18-19

A kick-off celebration with a costume contest will take place in the evening before a fun bicycle ride begins to roll. At the midnight hour, thousands of cyclists (some in costume) will take off in a series of groups and ride a 20-mile course through scenic areas of San Diego. 9:30pm - 3:00am. County Admin.
