America Opens to Public for Sunset Sails     July 11-25

Typically available for private/corporate charter only, the yacht is open to the general public for a relaxing sailing experience on San Diego bay. Sailing Dates: Wednesday, July 11 /  Saturday, July 14 /  Thursday, July 19 /  Wednesday, July 25. Sail Time: 5:15 PM to 7:30 PM. Departs: Marriott Marina “A” dock behind Hyatt (Parking in or behind Seaport Village) Boarding Time: 5:00 PM. Fee: $80 per head Adults / $45 Children 12 & under. Robert Egger South Bay Rec. Center Carnival     July 12-15

Have fun at this community carnival where you can play traditional carnival games to win prizes, experience thrills on mechanical rides, and slide down a giant inflatable slide. You can also get your photo taken at a portrait novelty booth or visit the Fun Factory. Festival of the Bells at Mission San Diego de Alcala     July 13-15

Come and help celebrate the founding of Mission San Diego de Alcala California’s first Mission. This celebration is called “Festival of the Bells” which will take place on Friday July 13th from 5:00pm to 9:30pm Saturday from 10:00am to 9:30pm with Blessing of the Bells at 12:00 Noon and Sunday July 15th from 11:00am to 7:00pm with Blessing of the Animals at 3:00pm. 54th Annual Championship Over-The-Line Tournament     July 14-15

You’ll have fun watching this beach softball World Championship event. The game is a form of rugged sand softball limited to 1,200 three-person teams in nine age divisions. There’ll be over 2,000 games played on 50 courts over a period of two weekends. Food and drink will be available. 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Bake at the Lake 4-Mile Cross Country Race     July 14

This July summer day will begin with a 4-mile cross country race at Lake Hodges. The beauty of the lake and the scenic route will get you motivated to run at a fast steady pace.
