38th Annual Greek Festival     June 8-11

Join us Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 8th through 11th. Feast on delicious homemade delicacies and pastries. Lamb, Greek style chicken, gyros, flaming saganki cheese, a variety of vegetarian dishes, baklava and more! Enjoy live Greek Music. Relax in the coffee house and drink up the atmosphere. Shop for beautiful one of a kind Greek Imports. There’ll be kid’s crafts and games too. Summer Facelift Neighborhood Clean-Up     June 9

Have you got time on your hands and don’t know what to do? Then join a group of volunteers to help revitalize homes in City Heights. Volunteers will clean away graffiti, pull weeds, remove trash, paint, and plant flowers. You’ll receive a t-shirt and lunch plus a good feeling of accomplishment. 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Day in the Fourth     June 9

The community of Skyline will come alive with a fun-filled festival! The event will have DJ music, step dancing, and booths offering food, merchandise, and health information. 4th Annual San Diego Kids Triathlon & Duathlon     June 9

Children ages 8-14 can challenge their piers at this athletic event. They can choose between a triathlon or duathlon. The distance of each race is matched to the age of each participant. The triathlon consists of a swim, cycle, run. The duathlon consists of a run, cycle, run. 9am - 12pm. Spanish Landing Park (along Harbor Dr.) Admission: $25.00. Webster Community Health/Street Fair     June 9

A multicultural community health/street fair will be offering exhibits, faith-based musical entertainment, and skits and presentations promoting good health practices. 19th Annual Hillcrest Book Fair Festival     June 10

Come and see what’s going on in the world of literacy. Exhibitors and book sellers have come together to offer a fine array of books; plus art and crafts.
