Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon/Health & Fitness Expo    June 1-3

Participate in the 10th annual San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon and run 26.2 miles from Balboa Park, through the city, along the beach and end at the Marine Corp Recruitment Base near the airport. This is a scenic run with lots of places for spectators and volunteers along the course. Before the event join the runners at the San Diego Convention Center for a huge health and fitness expo, admission is free and there are always fun booths with samples and items to try. Greatest Show on Turf Car Show     June 2

Car buffs will love this display showcase of classic and historical automobiles. 15th Annual International Village Celebration     June 2

2nd Annual Philippine Festival     June 2

This event celebrates the 109th anniversary of Philippine Independence from Spain. The day will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by guest speakers. Summer Solstice Wiffle Ball Tournament     June 2

Wiffle Ball is a sport similar to over-the-line with 2-person players (pitcher & batter). The game is played with a plastic light weight "wiffle ball" that is pitched to the batter who strikes it with a plastic bat. Proceeds will benefit the Liam Foundation to help persons with cystic fibrosis. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. 2007 SeaWorld Resident Camp     June 2-August 31

18th Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run     June 7

This event is a fundraiser for the Special Olympics in California. Over 200 law enforcement personnel representing 20 agencies will carry a flame-lit torch along the western edge of San Diego passing it from one to another in a relay format. 38th Annual Greek Festival     June 8-11

Children ages 8-14 can challenge their piers at this athletic event. They can choose between a triathlon or duathlon. The distance of each race is matched to the age of each participant.
