38th Annual March of Dimes Walk America April 28
You’re welcome to join a nationwide 5K/10K sponsorship walk where the proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes and be used for research to help prevent birth defects and infant mortality. More than 300 local companies are expected to attend. You can walk individually or in teams. 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. Balboa Park. Admission: Suggested participant sponsorship. 15th Annual All American Soap Box Derby April 28
Youths (age 8-17) will race against each other at this soap box derby. This event teaches basic skills of workmanship, competition, and perseverance to continue a project to completion. The winners will receive a paid trip to Akron, Ohio to compete in the soap box derby international finals. 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Linda Vista MultiCultural Fair and Parade April 28

19th Annual Multiple Sclerosis Walk April 29
Join others on a sponsorship walk where you’ll get a scenic view of the San Diego Bay. Proceeds will benefit programs that can make a difference in the lives of persons living with Multiple Sclerosis.
