Inventory Of Homes Is Once Again On The Decline
December 7, 2006
According to the National Association of Realtors (R) there has been a decline in the number of homes available for sale. In September alone, inventory levels fell 2.4%.
As inventory of homes continues to decline, the selection of homes will once again become limited. For prospective buyers, there may never be a better window of opportunity to buy than right now.
Taking advantage of the variety of homes available on the market today allows buyers the unique opportunity to find the home of their dreams.
An expanded selection of homes combined with lower interest rates offers buyers an opportunity that may never be available again in their lifetime.
Once inventory declines to a level where there are more buyers than there are homes for sale - the prices begin to increase again at a more rapid pace. It becomes the “Supply and Demand” equation.
