There are several factors one should consider when house hunting. Here is the one that is probably the most important for anyone to consider - that is LOCATION.

For many years, real estate agents have preached the #1 item in chosing a property: “Location-Location-Location”

In tract home developments the builder usually offers several floor plans. Although they may mirror each other, it is still important to consider the location of the one you are considering. Does it back-up to a freeway or busy street? Not that these are bad choices, but if noise were a concern for you - you probably would want to find a property away from high-traffic main thoroughfares.

Another consideration for location would be convenience. If two properties were similar in size and pricing - possibly the one closer to shopping or a bus stop would be the better location for you.
